Knitting pattern for the Fireside Mittens.

Snuggly winter mittens worked in the round in WYS gorgeous Blue Faced Leicester DK weight yarn. A solid coloured yarn really shows off the twisted stitch leaf pattern in the cuff ribbing and the column of flower heads that go up the back of the mitten hand. A flower head flanked by purl stitches is also incorporated into the thumb.

What you will need:-

West Yorkshire Spinners Fleece  (DK weight; 100% Blue faced Leicester wool; 225m/246yds per 100g ball).

Sample worked in Berry (1036); 1 (1,1) x 100g skein

A set of 3.5mm (UK 9 / US 4) DPN’s.
