Rainbow Rays panels

The 'Rainbow Rays' radiated out from the Big Rainbow in 2021's Big Rainbow Knit at St Georges square in Huddersfield town centre.

The yarn bombed panels were built up from a variety of repeating 1 & 2 coloured squares making up a kaleidoscope of colour.  Intarsia, Mosaic and Fair Isle patterns have been designed and created to compliment and build on the kaleidoscope.

Crafty groups of people got together to yarn bomb their own neighbourhood in a kaleidoscope of rainbow colours too.

all from thousands of 6" knitted squares!!

Individuals worked to the patterns included in the eBook and then sent them in to the Big Rainbow Knit HQ. Sandra and volunteers joined them together in a variety of Kalediscopic patterns for the Rainbow Rays
