Summer holidays means summer designs

I've just come back from a lovely summer break where we were exploring parts of Europe again. One day I will map out exactly where we go on our trips and let you know. With the help of our trusty Sat Nav Tom Tom system we travelled from Dunkirk around Belgium taking in the delights of Ghent , NieuwPort and Rochefort (not necessarly in that order) and on to Luxembourg staying in the lovely City called Vianden.

And whilst I was away, I couldn't stop knitting could I? I had this design in my head whilst we travelled and I was so looking forward to trying it out. It incorporated the daisy flower stitch I had found on pinterest some time ago. It had taken me some time to replicate the stitch (there were no instructions) and I had used it in 2 of my designs already. This time I wanted to use more threads in the flower, see if it would stand out even more. I seriously had the ideal yarn for this project. Noro's Aya yarn was so colourfully pretty that I knew that I had to use it for something special.

Well here is the finished result , so pretty.  Both the pattern and the finished scarf (for a limited time) are available in the shop.
