Knitting Workshops by Sandra of The Feminine Touch Designs are now being held locally in her West Yorkshire village of Slaithwaite.
Individual knitting sessions can be provided for those of you who do not feel confident in their knitting skills or are just starting out on their knitting adventure.
Sandra is a qualified teacher, an IT tutor and has lots of knitting skills and experience (please take a look around her web site to see some of the knitting she does). She brings this all together to bring you a well rounded experience. At all the sessions , whether in a workshop environment or 1:1 you will be given patterns and charts that she will go through in detail and you can take home with you. She will happily follow up any session with emails if you are still unsure of anything.
The workshops / 1:1 sessions take place at
Each workshop is 2 hours long , priced at either £15 or £18 per person. Yarn will be provided but can you bring your own knitting needles please.

Refreshments will be provided too.
Workshops have been arranged to cover an introduction to cabling, colourwork and functional and pretty wrapped stitches.
If you have an idea for a workshop, then please contact Sandra, who will develop one to suit you.

£15 Learn to knit cables, bobbles & twisted stitch patterns.
A 2 hour session for knitters with some knitting experience. Must at least know how to cast on, knit , purl and cast off again.
In this introductory workshop you will learn, at your own pace, how to follow cable charts and written instructions to turn your knitting into cabling wonders. I will take you from the simple 6 stitch cable to travelling, twisted, plaited cables and more!. Simple bobbles can be practiced and incorporated into cables too.
And then you'll practice what you've learned by making your own cute little cable mug cosies.
